Hello,

4 Range bar seems to be very cool for early morning scalping especially with FTSE. I also chked YM and was surprise that it also gave good signal. Chk out the chart below. I trade Z 95% of the time though.

I was toying with an idea of changing my 20 MA to 21EMA, add 55EMA and 89EMA. The signal for this AM on Z was given with price below all the MAs. So easy sell with good reward....again chk out the risk...minimal.

Post ur chart and lets take some points from the mkt with scalper.

The range chart seems to be cool with scalper for FTSE. I chked my system this morning and saw the signal to sell ftse. Using my discretionary styly, I will not take the signal becos it is above 89EMA. However, ftse had gapped up at the open, so I took a small sell which turned out to be a winner. Chk out the chart. If you notice the risk, very small, but the reward...?? I wish I stayed in it for all that ride....ouch.

Any comment is welcomed.

Pls share how you have also been using scalper to trade.

Have a cool day.

I apply the rulles on all chart types and time frame.

I also like to take my support and resistance from a Renko chat as it keeps u in a trade.

Take a look at the attached renko chart, u will notice how the resistance and support stands out easily.

You can trade from renko chart as well as use it to determine support and resistance. In a renko chart, time is irrelevant.

Hi Monte,

the first thing u need to do is to dowload the Renko bar zip file ( which can be found somewhere on this forum).
http://www.micro-trends.co.uk/forum/topic14-renko-bars.aspx

Once you have it on your computer, u will need to import it into Ninja trader (using file, inport ninja script, select where u save it).

It is only after u have done this that you can then choose Renko as a chart type under your format chart series or when u are opnening a new chart.

Pls let me know if this helps.

Cheers.

Check out these two charts (FDAX & Z). U can also clean out on these as well.... Want to know how??

All you need to do is ask....lol
Using the scalper on renko chart is very cool. Renko charts are not time based, they are transaction based. If you have not tried it before, I suggest you try it out. You can easily see support and resistance and it also keeps you in trades for more juice.

Watch out for more charts on Renko....I will also put up time based charts. Scalper works on all charts. Can't wait for a live trading room to show off this amazing creation from Microtrends.
