This Scalper Strategy can be directionally biased or non directional - it can also be signal faded - making it a breakout trader. Due for release with framework 1.0.0.17 - for NT6.5
Based on the popular TTMScalper
This uses the new MicroTrends Strategybase which gives it an out of the box vast array of options to tinker with if you wish - order entry, fading, adaptive stops, be triggers etc are some of the params avaialable... select 1 to 3 targets - let it auto pick the targets or use ticks, percentages for stops and targets... you have full control Sessionlimits also control targets and loss... The MicroTrends Info Bar - shows you on chart the trade performance stats - for quick visual backtesting or for realtime appraisal and monitoring purposes. The orange plot on the info show you your cumulative profit - so you can easily see your drawdowns adn troughs - the balance is far right.
stats and graphics can be turned on and off
trading session times can be set and 1 session break eg session start 09:00 end 16:30 break 12:00 14:00
when graphics mode is on: Green vertical dotted lines show sessions.
Session limits are marked by vertial thick red for loss limit hit and green for target limit hit no more trades are placed unitl next session
Directional bias will filter out the majority of trades - There are many modes for bias filtering - include slope, sma, swing trend and more to come with the 1017 framework Indicatorbase
Configurable plots - for signals, directional bias and bands are customisable. edited by tom on 11/05/2010
