This is a question for the NinjaTrader Framework forum
It already exists in the framework else where.

Also a a signal with an order offset also acheives it.
So it already exists as a strategy all you have to do is use a stop or stop limit order in a strategy and specfiy the number of ticks- then trade or filter the order signal that occurs if triggered after the entry signal.
The strategy can used on the sim.
In the context of your scalper modification. will i be exposing the functionality to free indicators etc.
Amongst other interface changes It is planned at some point to inlcude it as the standard signals interface so yes it will appear but it wont be called cushion...:-)
This is currently a low priority -so it is not yet in the current development srpint.
If there is tehcnial reasons to promote this functionality amongst the non free indicators signals it may surface in the next release.
Currently a retrospective and test phase - plus some documentation is being planned...

It broke!
The MT Scalper Public Properties have changed - meaning the params you see and configure have changed.
If you comment out all the inherited properties - and leave the local declared properties - that will work. The changes will automatically be picked up by the code.
But hidden from stratgeis due to limitations within NinjaTrades editor and auto generated object cache code

This version will break in MTNTF version 7.0.0.21 due to intreface changes on the MT Scalper - sorry!!!

Hi Tom.....you know, I feel privileged to have met you here...I think the Scalper indicator is a great tool and I will have to do more than thank you for it. Here is the YM chart for the last 2 days with the Scalper applied:

This needs saving
extracting to the indicator folder
When you compile the editor will get confused over
base. and this. in the inhertied properties region
just click no to the popup....
