The MT2 has 5 Seperate Trade Setup Modes, 1 triple sub mode for each and then 3 sub modes for the Trend Line Rejection, 8 modes of trade exit
Effectivley you have total control and program your trend trading technique which removes the need for custom programming.
Base trade Setup Modes These can be mixed together which provides a possible of 31 unique combinations of basic setup. Setup Modes 1,2,4,8,16 are unique bitwise flags and can be combined so for example settings TS1 and TS16 = 1 + 16 = TS 17 Trade Entry modes and Filters are also bitwise.
Crossover Early Reversal Unconfirmed Trend Chop and Continue Trend Line Rejection
Trend Line rejections 31 combinations not including a Triple mode, also the Trend Line Rejection mode can be applied to 1 of 3 or all 3 moving averages. Trend line rejection has 16 seperate Trade Setup Modes for each MA Each Trend Line Rejection Setup has 3 basic Trade Entry MAs each having 31 entry setups There are also 31 contraints for each setup and entry Each moving average can have a band drawn around it by way of an offset and constraint -
The advantage is you can control which moving average you want the TLR to trigger against while trading a crossover with isolated and different ma settings.
Trade Exit Modes There is also complete control over Exit strategy - the indicator has a virtual strategy mode - which allows it to hold an internal Market Postion - flat, short or long When in strategy mode it will internally track trade entries as order executions and so this allows it to produce exit signals which are relevant to your trading configuration. Trade Exit Modes are bitwise flags and go from 1 to 128 providing 255 unique combinations of exit strategy combinations
Moving Averages
MAs can be set to the chart timeseries TTF or a HTF higher time series or can be plotted based on another MA dataseries output Price type is fully supported 18 Different types of MA can used in any combination
Fast TTF HTF Cross + TLR + Exit
Slow TTF HTF Smooth Fast Cross + TLR + Exit
Triple TTF HTF Smooth Fast Smooth Slow Cross + TLR + Exit Triple Filtering
Filtering Filtering is also bitwise and can occur at trade setup or entry or both for crossover or TLR trades So there are global filters as well as Crossover and TLR specific filtering. Session Times Slope Range Max Entry Offset
