Can you see trades?
If so then yes the settings are technically correct.
If not then set ATRAUTOCALC=0 and enter 250 in ATRVALUE for DAX
If you can see trades
It is a matter of style as to whether those settings suit you.
You will need to backtest and optimise or test them on the simulator
Assess whether they are viable for your trading times.
The database is not a guaranteed list of settings but simply a list to get traders going and experimenting to see the different effects of each setting:
I would have 4 charts on each instrument with MT2 running on each with different settings loaded
Have one on the default setting – just to compare the trading action.
Overtime the database of settings will be assessed and recommendations will be put forward:
