Templates, worskspaces and settings database

The new installer installs templates straight into NinjaTrader.
You can then save your settings for each market as a number and name
You can save multiple settings per indicator or strategy.

There is a little work involved to get your settings in place..

Example:
Modify the MA Crossover Indicator
Set fastma=5
set slowma=10

General Param:
Double Click Parameter:
MT Zone Setting Save as
A save as dialog box is shown

Enter the next available number and a name
E.g 10
Name: ES MA Crossover
Click Ok

To load a setting
MT Zone Settng Load from list
A load from list dialog box is shown
scroll through the list
click Ok

Caveat
Whatever number in Zone Setting ID
is the setting that gets loaded when the indicator or strategy starts.
So sometimes you can make a change and it will not be reflected as the current setting has not been saved and has been reloaded.

Future updates won't overwrite your user settings.
Providing they are in a new slot/number.
It is optional to install templates etc
